What is the minimum order?

Our minimum is just 12 crates, with bulk pricing tiers that drop as quantities grow. One restaurant, one wedding or one trade stand is a completely normal order here.

How long does an order take?

Your free mockup arrives within 24 hours, and finished crates ship in about 2 weeks (faster turnaround available with express shipping).

Do you engrave or print?

Accepted Answer

Engrave, almost always. A laser burns the mark into the grain, so it cannot rub off or scuff at the edges and it darkens with the wood as it ages. Printed crates look sharper for a month and worse forever after.

Can you build a custom size?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and there is no tooling cost for it in wood. Send the internal dimensions you need — or just tell us what is going inside — and we build to that rather than to the nearest catalogue size.

What wood do you use?

Solid pine as standard, sanded smooth, with natural, clear sealed, stained or whitewashed finishes. Hardwoods are available where the crate is a display fixture that has to survive years of handling.

Can crates ship flat-packed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and on multi-store rollouts it cuts freight substantially. Flat-packed crates assemble in under a minute each with nothing more than a mallet.

Question 7

What about export shipments?

Timber crossing an international border must be heat treated and stamped to ISPM 15 or it is refused at the port. Tell us the destination when you enquire and we specify and stamp it correctly.

Question 8

Do I pay anything before I approve the design?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Mockups and revisions are free and unlimited, and you only pay once the design is exactly what you want.
